Evan G. Long, DDS, has more than 20 years experience in pediatric dentistry. He graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1977. He received his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in 1979 from Indiana University, following a two-year residency at Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Long has trained extensively in the study of growth and development of children, and continues to update his knowledge through participation in the professionally renowned Gnathos seminars, and numerous other courses. He has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry for 10 years in the Charlotte area, and was a partner in Pediatric practice in NW Indiana for 17 years before moving to Charlotte. He has hospital privileges at NorthEast Medical Center and Gateway Ambulatory Surgical Center.
Dr. Long is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Association, the Charlotte Dental Society, The Cabarrus Dental Society, the Rowan County Dental Society, the North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
After a rewarding day of treating children, you can most likely find Dr. Long on the golf course, or with his wife, Stephanie, and their children, Evan and Benjamin.

Carla Clay is our Office Administrator, and has worked with Dr. Long for 8 years. She is a life-long resident of Concord, where she lives with her husband, Ted, whom she has been married to for 40 years. Carla has 2 grown children and 6 grandchildren, who she enjoys spending time with. In her free time, she enjoys gardening. |

Shelia Dykes is our Patient Care Coordinator, who has worked with Dr. Long for 8 years. She is a divorced mother of 3 who lives in Charlotte. Lee and Sheree are presently enrolled in college, and Keenan is in elementary school, where he enjoys playing football. Shelia enjoys shopping and being actively involved in her local church. |

Rachael Mahoney is our Hospital Patient Care Coordinator, and has worked with Dr. Long for over 10 years. She and her husband, Chris, have 2 children, Anthony and Adriana. She enjoys shopping, going to the beach, and traveling to her home town of Pittsburgh for Steeler games. |

Dana Cress is a Dental Hygienist who has worked with Dr. Long for over 8 years. Dana lives in Concord with her husband, Jamie, and children, Jackson and Anna. When Dana is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and camping. |

Megan Foster is a Dental Hygienist who has worked with Dr. Long for over 7 years. She lives in Concord with her daughter, Tory, and son, Logan. She enjoys spending most of her time at her children's sporting events. When she has some free time to herself, she enjoys sewing, scuba diving, and reading a good novel. She also enjoys spending time in her bright and colorful garden. |

Amy Eads is a Dental Assistant who brings 4 years of pediatric dental experience to our practice. She attended Guildford Technical Community College, and graduated from the dental assisting program in July 2003. She resides in Lexington, NC with her husband, Andy, and her precious pair of teacup chihuahuas, "Weller" and "Wake." Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Amy's plans for the future are to some day start a family. |

Shelene (Shey) Fricchione has been working for Dr. Long for over 3 years as a Dental Assistant. If she is not at the office, she can usually be found working out at the gym. She loves spending time with her 4 year old niece, Bella. She also enjoys hiking, going to the movies, traveling, trying new foods, and just keeping active. She lived in the Dominican Republic for a year, and likes to practice her Spanish interpreting for patients in our office. |

Heather joined our practice in 2008 as one of our Dental Assistants. Heather and her husband Preston moved to North Carolina in 1998 from the sunny state of California. She now resides in Concord with Preston, their dog Sadie and cat Whiskers. She enjoys racing, shopping, going to the movies and spending time with friends and family. Heather also has a strong passion for animals, so on her days off she works at an Animal Hospital. |

Julian is a Dental Assistant who brings 17 years of dental experience to our practice, 15 of which are pediatric assisting experience. Julian is originally from West Palm Beach, Florida. She now resides in Charlotte with her twin boys Carlos and Calvin. She enjoys spending time with her children and sister, making candles, watching movies and cooking. |

Amanda Cornish is our Hygiene Coordinator. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology with an Associated Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree online. Amanda is originally from Olean, New York. She resides in Huntersville with her roommate Jill. In her free time she enjoys shopping, watching sports and spending time on Lake Norman. |
